Arachnid 360 Honors Sam Zammuto With “Hall Of Fame” Award

Arachnid 360 owners Tony Beall, Chris Beall, Shawn Beall, and original owner Paul Beall awarded a “Hall of Fame Award” to Sam Zammuto at the BullShooter 33 Finals, on May 27, 2018.

Sam, who joined Arachnid in 1982, has been very instrumental in the promotion of soft-tip darts and a major force in the growth around the world for years.

In 1977 he started the first soft-tip dart league in Rockford, Illinois, then helped Operators and Distributors establish leagues and tournaments around the United States.

Sam started the BullShooter World Tour, which has grown from a four event $25,000 event, in 1986, to 26 main events and $140,000, in 2018. The Tour will soon be starting it’s 34th year.

In 1986 Sam helped design the first soft-tip Cricket game and leagues. In 1988 he participated in the invention of “Automatic Communication”. He has been on the NDA Board since 1989 and received their “Hall of Fame Award” in 2010. Sam has been on the Illinois Operators Association Board for around 20 years and oversees all International promotions. He was instrumental in Arachnid receiving the “Illinois Exporter of The Year” Award multiple years by the World Trade Council of Northern Illinois.

Sam’s innovation also resulted in The Amusement & Music Operators Association awarding Arachnid with the “AMOA Innovator Award” in September, 2009, for the Shuffleboard, and then again in March, 2012, for the Galaxy 3 Live. The award was for recognizing excellence in developing and delivering unique ideas for the coin-op industry.

Sam has compassionately devoted his life to the promotion and growth of soft-tip darts. The Beall family is proud to have his expertise at Arachnid 360 and are honored to award him with the “Hall of Fame Award” as a small token of their appreciation for his years of commitment.

NGS – No Greater Sacrifice

NGS-winnerThanks to all the players that donated to the No Greater Sacrifice charity. All proceeds were donated to the families of fallen and wounded service members. $5,000 was donated by dart players at Qualifying BullShooter Regionals, the BullShooter Finals and some players mailed entry forms to Arachnid 360. The lucky dart game winner was David Delp out of Roanoke, Virginia. The Galaxy 3 Camouflage Home Game was shipped to the Delps, in Virginia, the week after the BullShooter. David said he is really enjoying the game and getting a lot of practice in! David is married to Lisa Delp (a Women’s A player) and they have nine children. His younger children play darts, so maybe there will be more Delp shooters coming in the future! David and Lisa donated to NGS at the Virginia BullShooter Qualifying Regional filling out many forms for the worthy cause. Congratulations on your win and enjoy your new game!
